I'm hooked!

My wife is too. We started watching Lost late - after the second season had aired. We picked up the Season 1 DVD set and it was all over but the shouting. We couldn't wait until the Season 2 set arrived. Then we had to wait until December 2007 for the Season 3 set.

Just now we're following Season 4 live, and of course the Season 4 set will be on its way to us once it's available.

I don't remember being this captivated or excited about a TV show. I've seen some pretty great shows in my life, like All In The Family, M*A*S*H, Cheers, Married With Children, St. Elsewhere, Tour Of Duty, Crime Story, Seinfeld and Friends. But none of those had me so hooked and hungry for the next installment. It's like electronic visually-delivered heroin - I MUST SEE LOST!!! I MUST!!! A little scary, but in a fun way :D

When I found out that there was one actor on the show who was still a "regular guy" and not an egotistical putz like so many ...so much so that he even maintains a blog here, I was impressed. Not only is he a down-to-earth guy, but his character on Lost is my favorite - Hurley. I think what swung me to Hurley was the episode with the Volkswagen bus they found in the jungle. Brilliant episode. And when Hugo saved the day with that same Volkswagen bus when the "others" were holding Jin, Sayid and Bernard at gunpoint on the beach, I almost cheered out loud. Hurley saves the day!! Genius! :D

Jorge Garcia has a blog ...and to be honest, I probably would not have joined here had he not had one. I spend plenty of time posting comments, since I run a successful and active internet discussion forum. I don't need to start a blog, too.
